Obituary for Belvie Daniels (Hurley)
Belvie Hurley Daniels, age 87 of Grundy, Virginia passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Buchanan General Hospital, Grundy, Virginia.
Born May 14, 1934, at Grundy, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Dolphie Hurley and Martha McClanahan Hurley. Belvie was of Holiness Faith. She was a wonderful homemaker. She enjoyed quilting and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ersell Daniels; two sons, Gregory and Randy Daniels; one grandson, Shannon Daniels; brothers, Vernil, Ira, Charlie, Lillard, and JB Hurley; sisters, Mae Keen, Graffie Short, Maggie Hicks, Ola Tiller, and Anna Lou Ashby; son-in-law, Lonnie Compton.

Funeral services for Belvie Daniels will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022, 2:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel, Grundy, Virginia with Mike Ashby, Andel Hurley, and Wade Endicott officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, Virginia.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening 6:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home. A service will be held at 7:00 P.M.
Serving as pallbearers will be Anna, Issac Daniels, Randall Daniels, Hunter Harbin, and family and friends.
