Brenda Sue Lester, age 57, of Bristol Virginia, passed away on March 12, 2023, at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Grundy, Virginia.

Born December 27, 1965, in Grundy, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Monroe Lester and Erma Charles Lester. She was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant at NHC Nursing Home in Bristol, Virginia. She was a member of the Blackey Church of Christ at Hurley, Virginia. She loved reading, gardening, growing flowers, and her cat, Shea.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mervel Lester, Shirley Lester, and Arlene Lester; one brother, Bert Lester; and one brother-in-law, Ralph Hurley.

She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In accordance with Brenda’s wishes, her body will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
