Burl E. Stacy, age 64 of Jolo, West Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at his home.
Born September 8, 1958, in Jolo, West Virginia, he was the son of the late William “Will’ Stacy and Bertha Stacy Stacy.
Burl was a retired logger. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandkids.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Orpha Ann Mullins.
He was a dedicated, loving, husband of 42 years to his wife, Delphine Steele Stacy of Jolo, West Virginia; one son, Mathew Furl Stacy and wife Ranzi of Bridgeport, West Virginia; grandchildren, Bryleigh Sheppard, Caleb Stacy, Brynzi Stacy; sisters, Dorothy Lester of Jolo, West Virginia, Pearl Lester of Paynesville, West, Virginia, Virgie Lester and husband Lloyd of Jolo, West Virginia; brothers, Estel Stacy of Jolo, West Virginia, Donnie Stacy and wife Diana of Jolo, West Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services for Burl E. Stacy will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023, 1:00 P.M. at the Followers of Christ Church, Paynesville, West Virginia with Jerry Stacy, Ellis Hagerman, Terry Coleman, and Oscar Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Stacy Cemetery, Estep Ridge Road, Jolo, West Virginia.
The family will receive friends Monday, January 9, 2023, 12 :00 Noon prior to the funeral service at 1:00 P.M.
Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
