Clara Jane Owens Ratliff, age 62 of Grundy, Virginia, died peacefully Sunday, May 8, 2022, at the Clinch Valley Medical Center, Richlands, Virginia.

Born January 10, 1960, at Richlands, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James Ervin Owens and Ruth McClanahan Owens. She was a retired Physical Therapy Technician at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home. Clara was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed watching westerns with her Special “Maw” Pauline Ratliff. She enjoyed playing the piano and singing.

Funeral services for Clara Jane Owens Ratliff will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel, Grundy, Virginia, with Eddie Wilson and Rodney Stiltner officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, Virginia.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, 6:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home. A service will be held at 7:00 P.M.

Serving as pallbearers will be James Eddie Smith, Samuel Yates, Dennis Ratliff, and family and Friends.
