Obituary for Craig JB Hurley

Craig JB Hurley, age 54, of Buchanan County, Hurley, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at the Clinch Valley Medical Center in Richlands, Virginia.

Born August 16, 1967, he was the son of the late JB Hurley and Joann Chambers Hurley. He was a former coal truck driver, employed by B and C Trucking. He was of the Christian Faith. He loved watching wrestling on television. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He took excellent care of his mother, father, and niece, Tara.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Karen Justice; one nephew, Shad Justus;
and brother-in-law, Ricky Crockett.

There will be a visitation service for Craig Hurley on Sunday evening, October 31, 2021, 7:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel, Grundy, Virginia, with Danny Hurley officiating. The family will receive friends at 6:00 P.M., prior to the service at 7:00 P.M.

A funeral service for Craig Hurley will be on Monday, November 1, 2021, 2:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel in Grundy, Virginia, with Danny Hurley officiating. Burial will follow at the Hurley Cemetery, 4491 Guesses Fork Road, Hurley, Virginia.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Matney, Kenny Ray McClanahan, Todd McClanahan, Tyler McClanahan, Raymond Justice, Mark Charles, family, and friends.
Honorary pallbearers include Dr. Ramesh Kabaria, Chris Ward, Carrie Matney, and the ICU Staff of the Clinch Valley Medical Center in Richlands, Virginia.
