Obituary for Donald Rose

Donald Rose, age 76 of Jolo, West Virginia passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Clinch Valley Medical Center, Richlands, Virginia.

Born December 9, 1944, at Raysal, West Virginia, he was the son of the late John A Rose and Ida Mae Underwood Rose. He was a retired coal miner of 30 years and was a member of UMWA. Donald was a man who loved the Lord, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and talking to his CB buddies.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, John Clarence Rose; brothers, Leonard, Steven, and John A Rose, Jr.; sisters, Linda Lou Prater and Beatrice Hagerman.

Funeral services for Donald Rose will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2021, 1:00 P.M. at The Follows of Christ Church, Paynesville, West Virginia with Jerry Stacy officiating. Burial will follow in the Matthew Baker Cemetery, Estep Ridge Road, Paynesville, West Virginia.
