Earnest Mounts, Jr. age 65 of Grundy, Virginia passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022, at Buchanan General Hospital, Grundy, Virginia.
Born April 9, 1956, at Blackey, Virginia, he was the son of the late Earnest Mounts, Sr. and Georgia Blankenship Mounts. He was a retired coal miner.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Stanley, Teddy, Robert and Timothy Mounts; sister, Patricia Mounts; maternal grandparents, Reverend Taylor and Nancy Blankenship; paternal grandparents, Rebecca and Otis Mounts.

In accordance with Earnest’s wishes his body has been cremated and a memorial service is scheduled for a later date.
Virginia Funeral Home of Grundy, Virginia is in charge of the arrangements.
