Everette Stewart Crawford, age 55, of Hurley, Virginia passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky.
He was born on May 22, 1967, to the parents of Laura Lester Crawford and the late Edward Lee Crawford. He was a loving husband and father. He loved deer hunting, coon hunting, and fishing. He was a heavy equipment operator and employed by P.B. Dirt Movers Inc.
Tiny, aka Hero, was truly a wonderful man. There was not a piece of equipment this man could not operate. There was not a job this man could not do. When he saw a problem, he was eager to find a solution, and he jumped in and got it done!
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Charlene Crawford Helton; brother-in-law, Doug Stacy; nephew, Jonathan Stacy; and both his maternal and paternal grandparents; and father-in-law, John Henry Stacy.

Funeral services for Everette Stewart Crawford will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022, 1:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Chapel, with Elders of the old Regular Baptist Church officiating, with burial to follow at the Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, Virginia.
There will be a service for Everette Stewart Crawford, both Wednesday and Thursday evening, December 7, 2022, December 8, 2022, 7:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home, Grundy, Virginia. The family will receive friends at 6:00 P.M.
Pallbearers will be employees of P.B. Dirt Movers, Inc., family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Paul's Fan Company and the Buchanan Health Center of Grundy, Virginia.
