Obituary for Franklin Perry McGlothlin
Franklin Perry McGlothlin, age 80, of Grundy, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the Buchanan General Hospital in Grundy, Virginia.
Born on April 7, 1941, at Deskins, Virginia, he was the son of the late William Howard McGlothlin and Pearl Lillian Dales McGlothlin. He was of the Christian Faith. He was very friendly, sociable, and never met a stranger. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Berta Adkins McGlothlin; sisters, Etta Ruth Justice and Juanita McGlothlin; half-sisters, Nell Branham, Effie Looney, Ora Baldridge, and Vernie Baldridge; brothers, Roy, Ed, and Jess McGlothlin; half-brothers, Cecil Horn and Wallace Horn; and nephew, Robin McGlothlin.

There will be a graveside service For Franklin Perry McGlothlin on Saturday, January 8, 2022, 2:00 P.M., at the Adkins Family Cemetery, Watkins Branch Road, Grundy, Virginia with Charlie Monk officiating. Everyone will meet at the cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
