Obituary for Henry Franklin Shortridge
Henry Franklin Shortridge, age 71, of Hurley, Virginia passed away at the Buchanan General Hospital, Grundy, Virginia, Sunday, June 26, 2022.
He was born April 6, 1951, to the late Clarence Shortridge and Susie Justice Shortridge of Hurley, Virginia. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret; and three brothers, Dean Shortridge, Junior (Catfish) Shortridge, and Billy Ray Shortridge.

There will be service for Henry Franklin Shortridge on Thursday evening, June 30, 2022, at the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel, Grundy, Virginia at 7:00 P.M., with Danny Hurley and David Lester officiating. The family will receive friends at 6:00 P.M.
There will be a funeral service for Henry Franklin Shortridge on Friday, July 1, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel, Grundy, Virginia.
Burial will follow at the Stacy Cemetery, Old Guesses Fork Road, Hurley, Virginia.
Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
