Jennifer Lynn Day Shelton, age 50 of Grundy, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Kentucky.
Born April 22, 1971, at Richlands, Virginia she was the daughter of Stella Jean Cooper Day and the late James Day.
Jennifer was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. She was a member of the Crossview Church of Christ. She was loved by her nieces and nephews. She was a self-employed landscaper, painter and cleaner.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Day.

Funeral services for Jennifer Lynn Shelton will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022, 3:00 P.M. at the Crossview Church of Christ, Panther Ridge Road, Grundy, Virginia with Hobert Kennedy and Justin Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Lee Davis Cemetery, Davis Ridge Road, Grundy, Virginia.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening, March 13, 2022, 6:00 P.M. at the church. A service will be held at 7:00 P.M.
Serving as pallbearers will be David Shelton, Josh Hensley, Bradley Mullins, Cody Mullins, Cody Hagerman, Justin Hall, Michael Hagerman, Jackie Osborne, J W Osborne and Jason Day.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Thornsbury, Paul Thornsbury, Aaron Davis, Lee Shelton, Jimmy Shelton, Jacob Shelton, Chad Day, Edward Day and Chris Hagerman.
