Obituary for Karen Elaine Dales
Karen Elaine Dales, age 65, of Grundy, Virginia, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022, at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Grundy, Virginia.
Born August 13, 1957, she was the daughter of the late William Henry Stacy and Ruth Ann Church Stacy of Grundy, Virginia.
She was a retired secretary, having worked for Wellmore Coal Company, as well as, several other jobs during her working career. She was a member of the Harman Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed her flowers, working at her job and home, and going shopping with her special friend, Wanda Clevinger.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry Stacy and Ruth Ann Church Stacy of Grundy, Virginia.

There will be a service for Karen Elaine Dales on Monday evening, October 3, 2022, 7:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel, with Mike Rife officiating. The family will receive friends at 6:00 P.M. prior to the service at 7:00 P.M.
A funeral service for Karen will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, 2:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel, with Eddie Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at the Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, Virginia.
Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
