Kenneth Ray Payne, age 63 of Grundy, Virginia passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023.
Born March 11, 1959, in Grundy, Virginia he was the son of Doris Rife Payne of Grundy and the late Benny “Jack” Payne. He was a retired Cement truck driver having worked for Tarmac Concrete.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Payne; one stepson, David Johnson; and one grandson, Jackson Thomas McGurie.

Funeral services for Kenneth Ray Payne will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023, 1:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel, Grundy, Virginia, with Truitt Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, Virginia.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 6:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home, where a service will be held at 7:00 P.M.
Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
