Obituary for Kenneth Ray White
Kenneth Ray White “Buck” of Patterson, Virginia, born April 16, 1963, in Richlands, Virginia, died suddenly Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Abraham L. White and his mother, Mary Kathleen Owens White; and one nephew, Kelly Ray White.
He was survived by one daughter, Cassandra Kimmer and husband Justin and three grandchildren, Brantley Kimmer, Blakley Kimmer, and Brady Kimmer of North Carolina; one son, Joshua Ray White and two grandchildren, Jaysa White and Kyrie White of Saltville, Virginia; one brother, Willard White and wife Carolyn of Lynchburg, Virginia; five sisters, Elizabeth Ann Meadows and husband David of Vansant, Virginia; Barbara Matney and husband Tim of Patterson, Virginia; Surbrena Clevinger and husband, Adrian of Grundy, Virginia; Patricia Keen of Patterson, Virginia; and Aleta Jo Bowles of Patterson, Virginia; five nephews, Joey White and Terry White of Lynchburg, Virginia, Scott Matney of Abingdon, Virginia, Nathaniel Vandyke of Patterson, Virginia, and Howie Meadows of Vansant, virginia; five nieces, Davanna Yates of Vansant, Virginia, Bailey Thompson Matney of Patterson, Virginia, and Karen Denise Brown of North Carolina, Brandy Thompson of North Carolina, and Nicki Canady of North Carolina. He was also survived by nine great-nieces and great-nephews.
Kenny worked for the Troy Absher Trucking company doing mechanic work for many years. He also helped his good friend, Carl Owens in his garage. Buck will be truly missed by all his family, his many, many friends, and his forever love and ex-wife, Trish Chambers of North Carolina.
In accordance with Kenneth Ray “Buck” White’s wishes, his body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, 6:00 P.M. at the Deliverance Tabernacle Church, Patterson, Virginia, with Justin Kimmer and Jerry Matney officiating.
