Leona Fay Christian, age 81 of Grundy, Virginia passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021, at the Clinch Valley Medical Center, in Richlands, Virginia.

Born July 8, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Elliot Lester and Ida Estep Lester Allen. She was a homemaker and was of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and sewing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Christian; brothers, sisters, and one son, Robert Earl Christian.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Leona Fay Christian will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, 2:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel, in Grundy, Virginia, with David Cline officiating. The family will receive friends at 1:00 P.M. prior to the funeral service at 2:00 P.M.

Burial will follow at the Wolford Cemetery at Wolford, Virginia.

Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
