Obituary for Margaret Louise Rice
Margaret Louise Rice, age 62 of Grundy, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at the Clinch Valley Medical Center, Richlands, Virginia.
Born September 24, 1959, at Richlands, Virginia, she was the daughter of Cora Lester McCoy of Big Rock, Virginia and the late Charles McCoy, Jr. Louise was of Christian Faith. She was a homemaking, loving mother, and grandmother. She loved her children and her grandchildren. She loved coaching basketball and working with children.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Rice.

Funeral services for Margaret Louise Rice will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021, 1:00 P.M. at the Harman Memorial Baptist Church, Harman, Virginia with Shea Shrader officiating. Burial will follow in the Mudlick Cemetery, Convict Hollow, Harman, Virginia.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening 6:00 P.M., December 26, 2021, at the Harman School Gym at Harman, Virginia. A service will be held at 7:00 P.M.
The family will receive friends Monday evening 6:30 P.M., December 27, 2021, at the Harman Memorial Baptist Church, Harman Virginia. A service will be held at 7:00 P.M.
Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny McCoy, Chucky McCoy, Justin Lowry, Robert Smith,
Charles McCoy IV, and Jerry Ray Rice ll.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jordon McCoy, Jacob McCoy, Timothy Rice, Shawn Potter, Glen McCoy, Mike Belcher, Mike Foraker, Mark McClanahan, David Smith, Mike Proffit, and Charlie McClanahan.
