Martha Jane Lester Ratliff, age 71 of Grundy, Virginia passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022, at her home.

Born April 16, 1950, at Grundy, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Joe Matney and Pearl Lester Matney.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Abraham Lincoln Lester, Charles Edward Lester, Vester McKinley Lester and Jimmy Lester, Sr.; sister, Mildred Lester.

Funeral services for Martha Jane Ratliff will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, 12:00 Noon at the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel, Grundy, Virginia, with Steve Lane and Brian Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, Virginia.

The family will receive friends Monday evening 6:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home. A service will be held at 7:00 P.M.

Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
