Mary Katherine Fuller, age 98 of Grundy, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at her home.
Born August 27, 1924, in Buchanan County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the Late Jessie Owens and Sarah Amanda Looney Owens.
Mary was a homemaker, and she enjoyed cooking, especially chicken and dumplings, fried chicken, and chocolate cake. She also enjoyed quilting, crocheting, reading, cleaning her house, and catering to her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Fuller; brothers, Clarence, Virgil, Eurele, Earl, and Thurman; sisters, Bertha, Maxie Fuller, and Dolly Owens

Funeral services for Mary Katherine Fuller will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel, Grundy Virginia, with Eugene Whited, Roger Coleman, Mark Justice, and Jeff Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, Virginia.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, 6:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home.
A service will be held at 7:00 P.M.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Fuller, Sammy Owens, Ethan Owens, Michael Fuller, Gabe Middlebrook, Johnathan Belcher, John Boy Belcher, Jonathan Deel, David Deel, and Hannah Fuller.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Vandyke, Wesley Owens, Billy Sam Campbell, John Owens, Rusty Owens, and JD Holyfield.
