Obituary for Pearl Hurley (Hall)
Pearl Hall Hurley, age 80, of Lester Fork section of Grundy, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, in the Buchanan General Hospital, Grundy, Virginia, following a brief illness.
Born February 5, 1942, at Hurley, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Lintal Hall and Beulah Cooper Hall. Pearl was a homemaker, a loving wife, and mother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Hurley; two sons, James and Steven Hurley, brothers, Roy, Earl, and Kenneth Hall; sisters, Jean Rife, Eileen Dotson, Glenna Smith, Sylvia Mullins, Betty Jo Justus, and Opal Rife.

Funeral services for Pearl Hall Hurley will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel, Grundy, Virginia with Larry Rife and Truitt Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain
Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, Virginia.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 6:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home. A service will be held at 7:00 P.M.
Serving as pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
