Obituary for Ricky Stacy
Ricky Stacy, age 68 of Hurley, Virginia passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tennessee.
Born October 21, 1953 at Grundy, Virginia, he was the son of the late Clyde Stacy and Patricia Ann Myers Stacy.
Ricky was a retired coal miner having worked for Jewell Smokeless Coal Company for 25 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding four wheelers. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Douglas Lee Stacy; his maternal grandparents, William and Thelma Myers; paternal grandparents, Ben and Lottie Stacy.

Funeral services for Ricky Stacy will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at the Virginia Funeral Chapel, Grundy, Virginia with James Stacy and Bill McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in the Stacy Family Cemetery, Woodchuck Road, Wolford, Virginia.
The family will receive friends Monday evening 6:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home. A service will be held at 7:00 PM.
Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
