Rita Sue Stacy, age 54 of Hurley, Virginia, went to her heavenly home Monday, January 23, 2023, in Buchanan General Hospital, Grundy, Virginia.
Born May 29, 1968, in Grundy, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Norman Stacy and Alafair Stacy Stacy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Allie and Keiffer Stacy; paternal grandparents, Joe and Mary Stacy; two brothers, Timmy Stacy and Brian Stacy; nephew, Ronald Stacy; and sisters-in-law, Jean Justus and Sue Looney.

Funeral services for Rita Sue Stacy will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at the North Springs Old Regular Baptist Church, Wolford, Virginia with James Stacy, Danny Hurley, and Elders of the Old Regular Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Charles Cemetery, Straight Fork Road, Hurley, Virginia.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 6:00 P.M. at the church. A service will be held at 7:00 P.M.
Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
