Obituary for Valedia Kelleyene Mullins

Valedia Kelleyene Mullins, age 69, of Paynesville, West Virginia, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022, at the Buchanan County General Hospital in Grundy, Virginia.

She was born on July 29, 1953, to the parents of Almeda June Cline Reed and the late Sherman Reed of West Virginia. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and a member of the Upon the Rock Ministry Church in Raysal, West Virginia. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family and animals.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by several sisters, several brothers, one grandson, James Mullins; one daughter-in-law, Cynthia Vance; one granddaughter, Destiny Vance; and one great-grandson, Ethan Mullins.

She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A funeral service for Valedia Kelleyene Mullins will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, 1:00 P.M., at the Summit Missionary Baptist Church, Paynesville, West Virginia, with Daniel Young and Corey Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the Mullins Endicott Ward Cemetery, John Stacy Road, Paynesville, West Virginia.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening, November 28, 2022, 6:00 P.M. at the Summit Missionary Baptist Church, Paynesville, West Virginia, where a service will be held at 7:00 P.M.

Serving as pallbearers will be the grandsons and sons-in-law.
