Wanda Clarise Wolford Stacy age 82 of Burkeville, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at her home following an extended illness.
Born June 8, 1939, in Grundy, Virginia, she was a resident of Burkeville, Virginia for many years. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Wolford and Annie Nipper Wolford.
Wanda was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and loved all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren . She always had a smile on her face and was a joyful person. She enjoyed spending time with her husband selling produce for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Leo Stacy; one daughter, Kimberley Beyer; one son, Larry Stacy; one son-in-law, Roger Looney; one granddaughter, Janie Bauer; brothers, Roy Davis, Henry Davis, Charlie Wolford, and Ray Wolford; two sisters, Pearly Nipper and Mary Belle Davis.

Funeral services for Wanda Stacy will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022, 1:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel, Grundy, Virginia with Larry Gibson and Danny Hurley officiating. Burial will follow in the Stacy Cemetery, Straight Fork Road, Hurley, Virginia.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening, April 2, 2022, 6:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home. A service will be held at 7:00 P.M.
Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
