William Earl Dellinger, age 70 of Grundy, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at a Prestonsburg hospital, Prestonsburg, Kentucky, where he died of black lung.

Born November 15, 1951, in Grundy, Virginia, he was the son of the late Babe Dellinger and Blanche Sexton Dellinger. He was a retired coal miner. He was a family man who loved spending time with his kids and grandkids, as well as being an avid fisherman.

Visitation for William Earl Dellinger will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel, Grundy, Virginia.

Burial will be in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Castlewood, Virginia, Friday, Jan 28, 2022, 2:30 P.M., with Mike Rife Officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Hurley, David Charles, Kristopher Charles, and Lukas Charles.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Dr. JG Patel and the third floor staff of Buchanan General Hospital.
